All of our lives changed forever. We Remember.

Overcome with emotion as we recall that day and the events to follow.

Struck with gratitude for those who responded first, who sacrificed their own life in hopes of saving others.

To the men and women who continued to work endlessly for months at ground zero.

We Remember.

To the men and women who stood in arms for years to come and took the battle off our soil to ensure and protect our freedom.

Deeply saddened by those who continue to mourn the loss of their loved ones on that day and the war that followed.

In an instant, so many people, so many lives torn apart.

We Remember.

It's unfathomable. We will never understand the hatred that brought this on.

We Remember.

In awe of a nation that stood together and said you will not break us. We will not succumb to terrorism and injustice.

We Remember.

We are all in this together. It is our unity in love that will prevail. Evil cannot exist where there is Good. Hate cannot exist when there is Love. We Remember.

It is our great privilege to live in this country.

It is our great honor to live each day fully, giving everything we can and be of service to others.

Our flag is a symbol of freedom; a representation of everyone human being since the birth of the United states of America who has made personal sacrifices so that we could live a free life.

We are the top 1% of the world - we are the privileged, we have limitless opportunity, we are free.

We Remember.

These things come with a price. The price that many others have paid for us, a price we can only pay forward by living up to our full potential.

I cannot express in words how profound, amazing and incredibly awesome this life is. How blessed I am to have opportunity in front of me and all around me. I am eternally grateful. I remember.

17 years later and on this day it feels like it was just yesterday. We will never forget. We will always remember
